A Coaching Opportunity – Release your potential
We are always excited to blend coaching into RLS’ assignments. This means helping you and your team to develop. We do this by combining coaching questions, which nurture accountability and positive ways of working, with delivering the assignment in hand. This is one of the ways in which we strive to approach challenges holistically. Leaving your team, your organisation and you in better shape.
You might be interested in our one-on-one coaching service. Clients can receive the service at a concessional rate, and as a thanks for giving us feedback to help us develop and finesse this new opportunity.
For your organisation – we can act as internal coach. This can be useful during important phases of organisational development, such as bringing products to market effectively and, at earlier phases, helping to bridge capabilities from being more technology focussed to more commercialisation, market and customer orientation.
For you – we can offer one-to-one coaching. This can help you plan both career management and focus, within the context of your broader priorities and overall aspirations.
Your coach will be Simon Walker who has been an active and valued informal coach for several years to colleagues, teams and friends. More recently Simon has advanced his competence in coaching more formally, through a programme with the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI). As with many things, putting hours of coaching into practice, and getting feedback is key.
Introductory Coaching Programme – Available now
What to expect during these three sessions (approx. 45 minutes per session) introductory coaching program:
Preparation Session
A free-of-charge exploratory discussion – to learn about you and what you want from a coaching relationship.
You can decide – coaching all the way - where we stimulate your thinking in finding solutions. For example, establishing your most meaningful and important priorities and exploring how to approach challenges.
Or - If you’re working in the life sciences – coaching and mentoring – our inside knowledge and experience in the life science industry can help you. In mentorship mode, we would suggest some potential solutions and, when appropriate, offer some specific methods to help tackle your professional priorities.
Coaching is all about you! It’s a catalyst to help you to maximize your professional and personal development.
One of the things we like about the CTI’s approach is coaching the whole person.
The Wheel of Life is a helpful model and preparation to help you to check your current state of fulfilment in eight areas of your life and we will share this with you for some thought prior to Session 1.
Session 1 (if you decide to do it)
Define, what would you like to get from your coaching? Explore and find areas you’d like to focus on. Establish a designed alliance together and agree some commitments and goals.
Session 2
Debrief and understand how the ‘Doing’ has gone in the last month. During this session we will focus on Being also. This means stepping back from the details and exploring some of your experiences since session 1.
Session 3
The essence of what is important to you, the bottom line and the approach around developing from now. Feedback on this early access coaching program.
Afterwards
This is entirely up to you, we can leave it at this or meet from time to time if it brings you value and is helpful.
